4-2-3-1: Manchester United potential starting XI vs Liverpool – Mkhitaryan starts

Manchester United Football Club struggled to a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke City on Saturday, and now the lads will have to wait two weeks before they get the chance to put it right. Next up, a trip to Anfield and a game against Liverpool FC, which obviously won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination.

We’ve decided to take a look at an early potential line-up that looks extremely strong, and hopefully, the selected XI will have more than enough to get all three points.

In goal we have David de Gea, and he’ll have both Eric Bailly and Chris Smalling in front of him. Daley Blind will continue at left-back despite Luke Shaw probably being back to fitness. Antonio Valencia will start as the right defender.

The midfield duo are looking good and they have to continue to start going forward. Ander Herrera will play alongside Paul Pogba once again as the pair grow and develop their relationship in the middle.

Marcus Rashford should be just able to fend off the returning Anthony Martial, with Juan Mata next to him in the #10 spot. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is likely to displace Jesse Lingard in the line-up, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic starting as the lone striker.
