4-2-3-1: Manchester United predicted XI vs Bournemouth – Borthwick-Jackson starts

Manchester United’s Champions League dreams are all-but over, with Louis van Gaal’s side failing to secure all there points at Upton Park last night. Now attentions turn to Bournemouth at home, which could well be the manager’s last match at Old Trafford.

A win here will put the pressure on City, so the Dutchman has to go with a strong line-up. David de Gea will start in goal, with Daley Blind and Chris Smalling in front of him. Matteo Darmian will come in at right-back for Antonio Valencia, and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson deserves a start due to Marcos Rojo’s shocking form.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Michael Carrick will hold down the midfield in the absence of Marouane Fellaini and Bastian Schweinsteiger. Jesse Lingard will start on the right, Anthony Martial on the left and Wayne Rooney through the middle. Marcus Rashford will lead the line once again.

Hopefully this side will be good enough to secure all three points, and Swansea can do us a favour over in Wales, as we need them to beat Manchester City.
