4-2-3-1: Manchester United XI vs Everton – Rojo starts

Manchester United return after a two week absence since the humiliation away at Arsenal, and the next game up certainly doesn’t get any easier. Louis van Gaal takes his side to Everton away, in one of the toughest fixtures for the club over recent years.

The game could see the timely return of a few players after various injuries, and most importantly Marcos Rojo, given the current situation at left-back.

Bastian Schweinsteiger and Wayne Rooney picked up knocks whilst playing for their countries but both are expected to be fit and ready to start this game.

Obviously Anthony Martial will continue as the striker, with Juan Mata and the much-maligned Memphis Depay continuing on the left despite his poor form.

Morgan Schneiderlin will return to the side, with the rest of the line-up staying the same – keeping that solid back three of David de Gea, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind together.
