4-2-3-1: Manchester United XI vs Watford FC – Rashford continues, Smalling returns

Manchester United made it three wins on the bounce at the weekend, as Louis van Gaal’s young side overcame Arsenal in dramatic fashion. Next up is a home game against Watford FC, and we could have received a couple of timely injury boosts ahead of the game.

David de Gea will start in goal, with Michael Carrick and Chris Smalling, who should be fit to return in behind him. Guillermo Varela has been in excellent form recently and deserves to continue on the right-hand side. Daley Blind will play as the left-back.

Morgan Schneiderlin and Ander Herrera did a stunning job in the middle of the park so it would be foolish to change that pairing anytime soon. Juan Mata simply has to continue, as do Memphis Depay and Marcus Rashford. Anthony Martial could return from injury, replacing Jesse Lingard.
