Manchester United Football Club come back in less than a week now, with Louis van Gaal preparing his side for a game against the newly-promoted Watford City. It will prove to be a tough game, as the lads won’t really know what to expect against a side they haven’t played all that regularly.
Team selection will be of prime importance here, and our task won’t have been made any easier with Michael Carrick expected to be out until at least the new year with ligament damage.
That means we are likely to see Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin start in the middle of the park, with an attacking three of Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata in-behind Wayne Rooney.
The back five will contain Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind, Marcos Rojo and obviously David de Gea in goal. Phil Jones misses out, and Antonio Valencia is injured.
