4-2-3-1: Manchester United XI vs West Ham – Rojo out through injury

Manchester United and West Ham go head-to-head this Saturday, with Louis van Gaal having plenty of selection issues on his hands due to various injuries. The latest setback sees Marcos Rojo sidelined for the foreseeable future due to a shoulder issue.

That certainly gives Louis van Gaal a problem at the left-back slot, and we’ll probably see Ashley Young utilised out there so Daley Blind can continue flourishing in the centre-back slot alongside Chris Smalling. This means that Matteo Darmian will continue at right-back.

The back line will be protected by Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, due to an abysmal performance from Michael Carrick last time out.

A front four that offers pace, intelligence, technical ability and passing prowess could be on display this weekend, with Anthony Martial leading the line. Wayne Rooney will continue as the #10, with Juan Mata wide right and Memphis Depay starting on the left.
