Manchester United Football Club have always been known for their superb academy facilities, as well as having the confidence in those players to give them their chance. We’ve decided to draw up a potential line-up for the future, with some real quality players included.
Just remember that this is all just for fun, but if even half of these youngsters kick on to that next level, Manchester United could have one of the best young teams in the world.
In goal, we have David de Gea. United will obviously want to keep hold of the Spaniard for the foreseeable future, and he could well be the senior figure in this team.
He’ll have a brilliant back four in front of him. Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly, Chris Smalling and Timothy Fosu-Mensah all involved. In the midfield, we have Sean Goss and James Weir – both have come through the academy at Old Trafford.
The wing spots will be held by Anthony Martial and Memphis Depay, and in the #10 role we have new-boy Tahith Chong. Marcus Rashford leads the line.
