4-2-3-1: Predicted Manchester United XI vs Huddersfield – Martial starts

Manchester United Football Club dropped a couple of points against Liverpool during their last Premier League game. Now, they’ll be desperate to get back to winning ways.

Make no mistake, the game against Huddersfield is by no means easy, but Jose Mourinho will have his team set up for the victory. With that in mind, take a look at our predicted starting line-up below.

Predicted Manchester United XI vs Huddersfield

David de Gea will play. He’s been in scintillating form at over recent weeks, making save-after-save that has led to all-important points both domestically and in Europe. Phil Jones will start, as will Chris Smalling. We’re still not sure on Eric Bailly’s injury situation. Antonio Valencia will fulfil that right-back slot, with Ashley Young continuing as our make-shift left-back.

Nemanja Matic has been nothing short of sensational at the start of his Manchester United career. He’s been Mr Reliable for Mourinho. Ander Herrera will continue, too. Our midfield is decimated by injuries at the moment, so those two pretty much pick themselves.

We’ve looked toothless up front over the last two matches which is a cause for concern. Anthony Martial should be restored to the XI, playing alongside Juan Mata and Henrikh Mkhitaryan. Romelu Lukaku will be desperate to find the back of the net after two games without scoring.
