4-2-3-1: Predicted Manchester United XI vs Zorya Luhansk – Fosu-Mensah starts

Manchester United take on Ukrainian side Zorya Luhansk in the Europa League tomorrow evening, with Jose Mourinho’s men currently sitting in second place in their group. The game won’t be easy, mainly due to the extremely cold weather conditions at this time of year.

Jose Mourinho has named his travelling squad for the match, so we’ve decided to try and work out what players will get their chance to impress in this one.

With it being a must win, I don’t expect the gaffer to throw Sergio Romero in there, so David de Gea will likely retain his place. This match could well be the first time we see Eric Bailly back on the pitch since his injury which would be massive. Phil Jones has to start based on recent form. With Antonio Valencia left back at home, Timothy Fosu-Mensah will get another opportunity. Daley Blind makes up the back four.

Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba seem to be the go-to pairing in the middle at this point in time, and I’d be surprised if Jose changed it up – particularly after Marouane Fellaini’s fatal error at the weekend.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan should be given another chance to start and build up that match fitness, but the rest of the front four could well change. Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney who is fresh off a suspension should come back in.
