Manchester United currently sit top of the Premier League for the first time in over two years, and my it feels great to be back at the summit. That stay could be short-lived however, and the team will certainly have to be on their A-game if they are to get any form of positive result away at Arsenal this Sunday.
Team selection is essential in these big matches, and if its broken don’t fix it. Manchester United have found a team that is working for them at this point in time, with Anthony Martial spearheading a front four including pace, precision and footballing intelligence.
The defence has been equally as good in recent weeks despite a seaons-ending injury for Luke Shaw. Daley Blind and Chris Smalling have formed a formidable partnership that look great at the moment, and Matteo Darmian has been equally impressive. The one issue is the left-back slot, which I expect Ashley Young to fill in for this one.
