Manchester United’s current squad is absolutely ravished by injuries at this point in time, with Jose Mourinho having to choose from a list of players much thinner than he has become accustomed to. Despite that though, the gaffer can still name a tough starting eleven for this game against Fenerbahce.
In goal, we could well see a change with Sergio Romero coming into the fold. Onto the back four then, and Luke Shaw will likely start as he works his way back to full fitness. Timothy Fosu-Mensah will play at right-back, with Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind continuing at the heart of the back four.
Fresh off of his red card, it’d make complete sense for Ander Herrera to continue as he won’t be available at the weekend. Marouane Fellaini will partner him to provide that muscle and physicality.
Juan Mata will probably captain the team again, with Ashley Young and Henrikh Mkhitaryan either side of him. Anthony Martial will get a rare start as a striker.
