You can say whatever you want about Manchester United, but under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, they have huge heart. To win away at Crystal Palace with so many injuries when it would have been so easy for heads to drop was massive.
Right now, the Premier League games are coming thick and fast. Next up, a home game against Southampton. This is a fixture that United should feel extremely confident heading into the match, but in the Premier League you just never know.
It’s sort of tough to work out what predicted line-up Solskjaer is going to opt for due to injuries, but we’ve given it out best shot in our predicted line-up…
Of course, David de Gea will start in between the sticks. The Spaniard was pretty quiet against Palace. Hopefully, it’s the same again here.
Luke Shaw is in the form of his life and I see no reason to disrupt that flow, while captain Ashley Young scored in his last fixture. He’ll start. Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling are forming quite the defensive partnership. They deserve to play as a pair once again.
Scott McTominay has stood up to be counted over the last week or so. We’ll need more from him here. Fred will get the nod and I hope that a good run of games gives him personal belief. I feel he’s lacking in self-confidence right now. Paul Pogba makes up the midfield trio.
Solskjaer called upon Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku to ‘step up’ ealrier in the week. The latter did exactly that to keep his place in the XI. Sanchez will play and I’m hoping to see a big outing from him. Marcus Rashford will lead the line after getting a rest midweek.
