4-3-3: Man Utd Starting XI vs Palace – Di Maria starts

Manchester United’s barron spell has been hard to watch over the past few weeks, with Louis van Gaal doing too much tinkering that outwitted himself from time-to-time, leaving Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Radamel Falcao all playing in behind Marouane Fellaini…

However United never give up, and Louis van Gaal has to pick his team back up and re-raise those spirits before a key away trip to Crystal Palace this coming Saturday.

Team selection will be huge, and I fully expect Van Gaal to change one or two things for this one. Unfortunately, Wayne Rooney will probably have to continue in midfield due to the injuries that are still persisting.

Hopefully we could see Phil Jones return though, as Paddy McNair’s inexperience has certainly been exposed in recent weeks.

I’d also like to see a bit more pace available on the counter attack, with Angel di Maria coming back into the side in the place of Juan Mata.
