Manchester United face a tough task against Everton this weekend, with Louis van Gaal having a few selection dilemmas on his hands for the game due to various injuries. The Old Trafford side will be keen to get back to winning ways after a woeful performance last time out.
Everton demolished us 3-0 at Goodison last season, and with that in mind we could expect to see a more defensive formation utilised by the manager – in the form of a 4-3-3.
Marcos Rojo could hand United a timely return to action by slotting in at left-back, leaving the solid pair of Chris Smalling and Daley Blind unaltered in the middle. Matteo Darmian will continue at right-back coming off an excellent international break.
The midfield will be anchored by Morgan Schneiderlin, with Bastian Schweinsteiger and Juan Mata in front of them, with the Spaniard the furthest forward.
The front three, without Wayne Rooney, is spearheaded by Anthony Martial, with Ashley Young and Memphis Depay on either side.
