Capital One Cup football returns to Old Trafford tomorrow evening, with Louis van Gaal preparing his side for a potentially tricky clash against Middlesbrough who are looking great in the Championship to this point.
Ahead of the game Louis van Gaal met the media and discussed team selection, and confirmed that a couple of youngsters could well be involved.
However I don’t see the gaffer making too many changes as he loves that consistency in his sides. He’ll also want a good cup run this year, so it could well be a blend of youth and experience on display under the floodlights tomorrow.
The likes of James Wilson and Andreas Pereira should get their chance, as will fringe players like Marouane Fellaini and Memphis Depay, who have found themselves on the bench since the international break. They’ll no doubt be keen to impress.
