4-3-3: Predicted Man United XI vs Huddersfield – Sanchez starts

Manchester United’s season has been a forgettable one. Things are now winding down to a close, though, with just two games remaining.

For Ole Gunnar Solskjaer it’s already about building for next season. The club as a whole need to show the Baby Faced Assassin that they’re ready to give him their full backing.

With games against Huddersfield Town and Cardiff City still to play, members of the squad will be trying to prove they belong. With that in mind, let’s take a look at our predicted starting line-up for this one…

Solskjaer has already confirmed that David de Gea will be involved. Rightly so, he’s our number one and if we drop him now, what reason does the Spaniard have to stay?

Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof have probably been our best two players this season, they’ll make up the left-hand side of the defence while over on the right, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young both start.

Scott McTominay has come on leaps and bounds recently. The young midfielder will likely continue in place of Nemanja Matic. Ander Herrera may well leave this summer but it’s up to United to utilise him while he’s still around. Paul Pogba makes up the midfield.

Alexis Sanchez is firmly in the last chance saloon and I fully expect him to be involved in United’s two remaining matches, starting tomorrow in Yorkshire. Marcus Rashford has overcome a shoulder problem to start this one, while Juan Mata, fresh off his goal last time out, deserves to play here.
