4-3-3: Predicted Man United XI vs Wolves – Lukaku at striker

Manchester United returned to winning ways at the weekend, but only by the skin of their teeth. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer knows there is much work to be done.

Next up for the Red Devils is an extremely difficult game away at wolverhampton Wanderers. United lost on their last visit to Molineux just before the international break, the players will be looking to right those wrongs.

Before the game, United have had some good injury news, so let’s dive right into the predicted starting XI.

David de Gea will start in goal. Here’s the first returnee, with Victor Lindelof getting the nod fresh off him returning due to a leave of absence. He’ll partner the in-form Chris Smalling at the back. Luke Shaw plays at left-back after an outstanding display, with Ashley Young continuing as the right-back.

Nemanja Matic sists at the base of a talented midfield triumvirate. Ander Herrera will bring the energy and drive, while Paul Pogba’s job will be to carve out opportunities against a top class side.

Romelu Lukaku is ready to play after his foot problem. Jesse Lingard will also make his first start in a few weeks. Marcus Rashford gets the nod, but he’ll be shifted out wide.
