Manchester United Football Club head South this weekend, to take on a Chelsea side who are in great form under Maurizio Sarri.
Jose Mourinho is a manager for the big moments, he loves to get one over on the very best. All eyes will be on the self-proclaimed Special One at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Before the eagerly anticipated encounter, let’s give you a run-down of our predicted line-up. Now stick with us as there are a few injury problems. I personally don’t think that Nemanja Matic or Jesse Lingard will be fit to play. However, Luke Shaw and Marouane Fellaini should recover in time.
Predicted Manchester United XI vs Chelsea:
As previously mentioned, I think Shaw will be fit enough to take his place on the left side of the defence. Antonio Valencia will continue on the right, with Mourinho re-installing Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling as the back two.
Fellaini will sit at the base in Matic’s likely absence, which presents an opportunity for Brazilian Fred to get himself involved. Paul Pogba will start as the most-forward midfield player. We’re going to need a big game from the Frenchman.
The manager has a dilemma up front. Romelu Lukaku has been struggling but he rediscovered his shooting boots for his country over the international break. He will start. Anthony Martial played excellently last time out. Dropping him at this point would be criminal. Alexis Sanchez also deserves to play, he’ll shift over to the right.
