Manchester United Football Club are winless in four. Jose Mourinho will be feeling the heat.
The Red Devils are desperate for a victory, although Newcastle United will head into Old Trafford with confidence aplenty; there probably isn’t a better time to play us at this point in time.
Now, it’s down to the players to pull their fingers out and show that they still care for the manager. Let’s dive right into our predicted starting line-up for this one, and there are a few changes from last time out.
Predicted Manchester United XI vs Newcastle:
David de Gea will continue in between the sticks. The Spaniard hasnt’ had much help from his defenders recently, hence why I think we’ll see a change or two back there. Diogo Dalot should finally make his Premier League debut, with Eric Bailly starting his first league game in four. Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw make up the back four.
Nemanja Matic wasn’t good last time out. He has to rediscover his debut season form as quickly as possible. Fred will come back into the mix as this is a game I expect us to be on the front foot. Paul Pogba makes up the midfield trio.
Anthony Martial deserves his opportunity as Alexis Sanchez continues to slump. Juan Mata should play, as should Marcus Rashford as Romelu Lukaku hasn’t been anywhere near good enough.
