Manchester United’s second-place finish in the Premier League has been all-but secured, with Jose Mourinho’s team showing great improvement this season.
With two games still to play, the Red Devils will want to finish the season strong and build momentum before their FA Cup final clash against Chelsea.
Next up is a potentially tricky clash away at West Ham. With that in mind, we’ve drawn up our predicted starting XI for the fixture. Check it out here:
Phil Jones has been back in the mix recently and I expect him to play alongside Chris Smalling. Although the English duo always have a mistake in them from time-to-time, it’s probably our best partnership right now. Ashley Young has been great as our make-shift left-back under Mourinho so he’ll play. Antonio Valencia makes up the back four.
Nemanja Matic will sit at the base of our midfield three. He’ll provide protection to the back four, while allowing Paul Pogba to do what he does best in the final third. Ander Herrera will no doubt prove to be his usual busy self.
Then we’re moving on to the front three. Anthony Martial struggled against Brighton, but he deserves a chance to start as the main striker. Alexis Sanchez should be back fit and ready to play, with Jesse Lingard starting on the right-wing.
