The Old Trafford faithful will be flocking to the game for the penultimate home match this season, as West Brom visit the Theatre of Dreams, captained by a Manchester United great in the form of Darren Fletcher.
Fletch will no doubt get a heroes welcome upon his return, but sentiment will be put to one side for ninety minutes when that first whistle blows.
Louis van Gaal has somewhat of a selection dilemma on his hands, particularly in the defensive area of the field.
We’ll be without Jonny Evans, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw, with Phil Jones also doubtful – however I expect United to risk Jones as Van Gaal will be looking to solidify that defence once again.
Another problem position is the holding midfielder spot which will probably be filled by Wayne Rooney. Michael Carrick is once again missing, leaving us very short of options in that particular area of the pitch.
There is a slight silver lining though, as Manchester United are set to welcome Robin van Persie to the first-team fold after a two-month injury layoff. Hopefully the Flying Dutchman can hit the ground running with a goal or two here.
