A VIEW FROM THE ENEMY: Leicester fan on Mourinho, Danny Drinkwater & Mahrez

United have another early kick-off to take part in tomorrow, with champions Leicester visiting Old Trafford in a mouthwatering clash for Premier League fans. The game itself will obviously be extremely tough, but you’d hope the self-proclaimed Special One will get his tactics right this time around, and help deliver all three points.

Ahead of the game, we’ve spoken to Chris Forryan of Leicester Till I Die, to get his thoughts on the game. Before we get to the questions, check out their twitter feed here.

Jordan@OTF What would have to happen for this season to be considered a success?
Chris: For me to finish 9th or above as Chelsea finished 10th last season which was the lowest [position for defending Champions. We know we will not replicate last season but finishing in a Euro spot would be great.
Jordan@OTF: How have you found the Champions League so far?
Chris: Easy! Seriously having only played 1 game and getting a win was a great start for us. We know the FC Porto games will be harder but a 3-0 win in our first ever Champions League game was a great start.

Jordan@OTFWhat do you make of Leicester’s transfer business?
Chris: Really pleased. If we could have got Silva from Sporting Lisbon as well as Slimani it would have been great as we need that experience in midfield. Also if we could have got Keane from Burnley. We need a bit of youth in our CD positions.
Jordan@OTF: Just how good has Danny Drinkwater been over the last twelve months? Should he be in the England squad?
Chris: Not only should he be in the squad he should be starting. Big Sam showed he is as much of a Muppet as his predecessor. He has to be one of the top English central midfielders around at the moment, no wonder you lot are linked with a move to take him back to Old Trafford.

Jordan@OTF: Have you been impressed with Ranieri’s transfer business?
Chris: Time will tell. A lot of our signings, even this summer, have been players we have been chasing since the Pearson days. That said Zriler in goal looks a more than able replacement for an injured Schmeichel. It is still a bit too early to judge a lot of the new signings but Ranieri has the experience in Europe to find us some gems.

Jordan@OTF: Who should United fans watch out for during this one? Can you pick out Leicester City’s danger man?
Chris: There’s a few, I would normally have said Mahrez but after last weeks debut keep an out for Slimani up front. he could prove to be a right handful.

Jordan@OTF: If you could pick one United player to have at Leicester, who would you go for?
Chris: Err just one? When it looked like Carrick might be leaving in the summer I was hoping for a bid, but if you ever want to loan out Pogba I’d take him off your hands!

Jordan@OTF: Where do you think both sides will finish this season?
Chris: I can see a top 4 finish for yourselves. Either 3rd or 4th to be honest with a 6th or 7th for ourselves.

Jordan@OTF: Finally, give us a score prediction.
Chris: Its a good time to play us at the moment with our new signings settling in and our indifferent start to the season, but the same could be said of yourselves. I’m gonna go with a 2-2 draw.
Jordan: We’ll go for 2-1 United! Cheers!
