Manchester United’s summer transfer window has been an odd one. Earlier on it felt like Louis van Gaal was going a long way to correcting our problems and clearing some dead wood, but since the pre-season tour it has been quite disappointing.
A player linked with a move away from Old Trafford all summer has been Adnan Januzaj, and according to the Standard, West Ham United see the Belgian as a potential transfer target this summer.
The move would probably be a loan one, but reports this morning suggest United want to keep hold of Janzuaj if they fail to sign another winger this summer.
Everyone is aware of how talented Januzaj is, and if United can offer him regular football then he should stay at Old Trafford, but if he is to be a bit-part player then ship him out on loan for a season so he can grow as a footballer.
