Manchester United loaned Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund on transfer deadline day, in one of the most bizarre deals throughout the summer window. The young Belgian had started United’s last four games before Louis van Gaal decided to ship Januzaj out on loan.
The 20-year old will now get a taste of Bundesliga football for a season, before hopefully coming back to Old Trafford a year older and wiser next May.
Januzaj started his first game for his new club in his favoured #10 role, and midway through the first half he managed to find the back of the net after a fantastic bit of control, but he was somewhat fortunate with the finish as the ball took a deflection and trickled into the back of the net.
Shortly after the game Januzaj took to Twitter and expressed his delight and netting for the first time.
