Manchester United’s Adnan Januzaj burst onto the scene scoring two wonderful goals away at Sunderland last year, and from that point onwards he featured in pretty much every game under David Moyes last season. This campaign has been different, however, as the young Belgian has struggled to break into Louis van Gaal’s starting line-up.
The 19-year old doesn’t really fit naturally into any of the available positions in Louis van Gaal’s system, and with a whole host of talented and versatile players ahead of him, you struggle to fathom just how he’ll feature on a regular basis.
According to the usual reliable Telegraph newspaper, Adnan Januzaj is a target for David Moyes’ Real Sociedad side on a loan deal. Now, personally I don’t think that this is the worst idea in the world. Januzaj was one of, if not the outstanding performer under David Moyes last season, and the young Belgian needs to be playing regularly if his development is to continue.
A loan to a Premier League club would be favourable, but it’d do him good to live in another country and adapt his game elsewhere.
