Manchester United are trying desperately to sign a twenty-plus goal a season man, with Louis van Gaal clearly not content with the production of his current front line. One man who fits the bill is Paris Saint-Germain’s Edinson Cavani, who could well be on the move this summer.
United have shown an interest in the 28-year old Uruguayan, and according to the Daily Mail, his advisors are interested in speaking with the club about the possibility of that move.
Since his arrival in the French capital, Cavani has often had to play second fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, which has led to some unhappiness from the £56million man.
If we could somehow lure him to Manchester then that would be a superb piece of transfer business, but you’d imagine that PSG would want to recoup somewhere close to the £56million they paid for him, which could be a potential stumbling block for a man of his age.
