Agent confirms that Manchester United are interested in client

Manchester United haven’t made any moves in January, and it seems as though Louis van Gaal is happy with his squad going into the business end of the season. However plans are already being made for the summer, with football agent Matteo Roggi, confirming United’s interest in Mattia Perin.

Perrin, 23 is Genoa’s first choice goalkeeper in the Serie A, with the Italian regarded as the best up and coming shot-stopper coming out of his homeland.

When asked about Manchester United’s interest, Roggi replied:

“It seems normal that high level teams keep an eye on Mattia’s evolution.”

“It would surprise me if they didn’t [bid]. Perin is now only thinking of keeping Genoa up, then after this season we will see.”

This move will only happen once David de Gea leaves Manchester United, and at this point in time it looks unlikely that he’ll go this summer. However we all know just how quickly situations can change, and we could do a lot worse than Mattia Perin.
