Agent of Manchester United defender quashes rumours about client leaving club

It feels like the transfer window has only just closed, but odd rumours are already popping up all over the place. The latest one suggests that Marcos Rojo is prepared to leave Old Trafford, either in January or next summer when the window opens.

However, his agent Carlos Goncalves has quashed those rumours almost instantly.

“There is no need to talk about it. Rojo is happy at United and has no intention of leaving the club.” Carlos Goncalves said.

These rumours have come because Rojo hasn’t been playing at the start of the season, but that has been because of his participation in the Copa America with Argentina.

Louis van Gaal has always been the kind of coach who won’t play a footballer who isn’t 100% fit, but as we’ve seen he has been back involved over the last couple of games.

Rojo himself has always maintained the stance that he is willing to fight for his Manchester United place and he won’t be moving anywhere soon, with is obviously the correct attitude to have.
