Alejandro Garnacho ‘dreams’ of Real Madrid move at some point in career

Man United winger, Alejandro Garnacho, apparently dreams of playing for Real Madrid at some stage in his career.

Manchester United Football Club have been a breeding ground for hot prospects ever since I can remember. Credit to Erik ten Hag, who has continued with that mantra.

Last season, Alejandro Garnacho was the breakout star. The Argentina international offered dynamism, pure pace and directness off that left-wing, scoring some vital goals. He’s continued to improve this term, starting 25 games in a row for the Red Devils.

However, the latest rumour on Garnacho’s future is somewhat disappointing, albeit expected. The Express relay information from TYC Sports journalist Gaston Edul, who claims that the United starlet ‘dreams’ of a Real Madrid move at some point in his career.

It was somewhat expected, given the fact he was born in Madrid. It also makes sense that Garnacho chose to move to United from Atletico Madrid, as there was no way they’d let the winger head to their fierce rivals directly.

I’d like to think that Garnacho will show some loyalty to the Old Trafford club, staying here for at least a half-decade first. I reckon it’s nailed on he’ll head to Los Blancos during his peak years as that’s where he wants to be, but this isn’t new information. United have always known this to be the case.

It’s a weirdly similar career trajectory to his idol, Cristiano Ronaldo. If United can get a massive fee for Garnacho down the line, I think as a club, we have to respect his wishes and accommodate a move – assuming the price is right.

Do you think Alejandro Garnacho will head to Real Madrid anytime soon? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.
