As Alejandro Garnacho stated, sometimes dreams really do come true…
Manchester United do not play again for at least another week. Perhaps this squad needed rest, both physically and mentally, after a pretty gruelling portion of the season.
Sadly, all hope looks lost for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign, with the club already looking forward to what the future holds.
No doubt a new manager will be in place, while alongside that, the academy continues to flourish at this moment in time. Personally, I’d love to see some young lads thrown into the mix before the end of this term, in order to see if they have what it takes.
Perhaps the biggest talent at the moment is Alejandro Garnacho. The young man is thoroughly impressing at youth level this season. So-much-so that he’s already earned himself an Argentina international call-up.
Now, the United starlet has admitted that ‘dreams really do come true’ as he meets none other than Lionel Messi while gearing up for a training session.

Honestly, being able to work with both Messi and Ronaldo, aged just seventeen, is absolutely crazy. Not many players will be able to boast that they’ve played with the two GOATs of our sport, particularly so young.
Learning from these guys can only help Garnacho develop as a player. Surrounding himself with guys who have that elite mentality is another massive step in the right direction.
What’s crazy is that Garnacho plays with maturity beyond his years. Comparing him to a young Messi and/or Ronaldo is perhaps a little premature but he definitely has the tools in his arsenal to go right the way to the top of our beautiful game.
Hopefully, Garnacho gets some minutes for Argentina over the next few days, because again, that’d be another massive step in the right direction.
