They even go as far as claiming that the player could train separately from the rest of the United squad upon his return to the AON Training Complex once this season is eventually completed…
Understandably, Solskjaer doesn’t want any distractions around his new-look, young United squad, though the problem remains that Sanchez still has two-years left on his deal at Old Trafford.
There is a scenario being talked about in which United pay up some of Sanchez’s wages, presumably in one lump sum, to get him off the books and away from the club – as nobody in their right mind wants to take up such an absurd wage packet…
Simply put, this move has been a disaster from day one. Sanchez hasn’t done anywhere near enough while it seems as though the 31-year-old just doesn’t fit in with what United are trying to achieve. It was a deal struck purely because of Sanchez’s big-name as opposed to what he’d bring to the table. More often than not, those sort of transfers never work out…
