Amad Diallo already has his first senior Manchester United training session under his belt.
Manchester United officially unveiled their new right-winger yesterday, with pictures of Amad Diallo wearing his new kit arriving just a few hours later.
The former Atalanta star arrives at Old Trafford with promise aplenty. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been crying out for a true right-winger. Now, we may have exactly that – albeit Diallo is probably still a little rough around the edges given his age.
I personally thought Diallo would be placed with the U23s at first, though the Baby Faced Assassin seemingly deems him good enough to partake in first-team sessions already.
Thanks to the official @ManUtd Twitter account, we have pictures of Amad Diallo enjoying life in United training for the first time!

Now, excitement is building as to when we’ll see Diallo in action. I’ll stand by my guns and expect Diallo to have to play at least a few U23s games before he’s thrust into the deep-end in the United first-team.
However, if we’re comfortable in a match and Diallo is on the bench, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Solskjaer throw him on for 10-15 minutes just to see what he can do.
It’s worth noting that Diallo is going to need time. After all, he only played about an hour of senior football for Atalanta. United is a step up from that, so we can’t expect too much too soon from the young Ivorian.
No doubt he’s getting all the help he needs from the club, most likely from his countryman Eric Bailly. For now, Diallo just needs to be given time to settle in, adjust and adapt.
When he’s ready, those chances will come.
