Man United fans claim Amad Diallo is ready for Man United first-team

Manchester United Football Club may well have unearthed another gem in the form of Amad Diallo.

Signed from Italian side Atalanta, Manchester United actually agreed to sign Amad Diallo during the 2020 summer window. Unfortunately, the paperwork wouldn’t be completed in time, with the Ivorian having to wait until January.

Now that he’s here, the hard work starts. The tricky winger was always going to be eased into things and a game against Liverpool’s U23s never looked like an easy start on paper.

Well, Diallo would take to life in Manchester like a duck to water. He’d score within fifteen minutes, before doubling his tally with a brilliantly-cheeky panenka penalty in the second half. The Ivorian has certainly arrived on the scene…

Sure, the step up from U23 football to first-team football is a massive one. Just look at the likes of Angel Gomes and James Garner, who have both looked brilliant at that level but struggled at the top. Diallo, though, looks like he has it in him to go an awful long way within this sport.

He has this aura, composure, a maturity beyond his years. All things that cannot be taught. Diallo reminds me of Mason Greenwood in that sense – and we all know how good the Englishman has been over the last twelve months.

I guess it’s only a matter of time before we see Diallo make that leap into the first-team fold. For now, though, Diallo should continue to work hard on the training field and enjoy his minutes at U23s level. I’m not sure how long Ole Gunnar Solskaer will be able to resist calls from the supporters to give Diallo his chance, mind…

Man United fans would express how impressed they were with the talented 18-year-old all over social media. He certainly looks like the real deal.
