Manchester United boss David Moyes is looking to move on Brazilian midfielder Anderson, with his former side Porto keen to take him on loan. United paid a hefty £20m fee for the midfielder back in 2007, and although he has played 174 games for the club, he hasn’t lived up to expectations.
As David Moyes looks to mould the squad exactly how he wants, letting the deadwood such as Anderson and Ashley Young leave is just as essential as bringing new faces in. January is renowned for being a tricky time to buy new players due to various cup tie rulings. It is believed that Anderson will be allowed to leave on loan, as no club wants to bring him in on a permanent deal at the present time.
Anderson has won four Premier League crowns, two League Cups and a Champions League title as he enters his seventh season in England.
