Anderson set for Old Trafford exit

Manchester United fans have wanted Anderson gone for a while, and it looks as though that they are going to get their wish within the next few weeks. Fiorentina’s sporting director, Daniele Prade, has confirmed his interest in signing Anderson from Manchester United.

If you believe the reports in the papers, Anderson is one of the players that David Moyes wanted gone in this window, so he’ll certainly be happy about the reported interest from Fiorentina.

Daniele Prade said:

“Anderson is a player who Fiorentina likes and is following, but this certainly applies to many other players,”

It is unclear yet as to whether Anderson will be leaving on a permanent or a loan deal, but it looks as though the writing is on the wall for the Brazilian midfielder. Sadly, it hasn’t quite worked out for him at United, but I’ll always remember him for that penalty he scored in Moscow back in 2008.
