Manchester United Football Club made it comfortably through to the fourth round of the Capital One Cup, after a solid 3-0 performance at home to Ipswich. Amongst the goal scorers was the debutant Andreas Pereira, who has thanked Juan Mata for his part in the goal.
“I asked Juan for the ball and he gave it to me. We’ve been practising together and he trusted me.” Pereira said.
First and foremost its great to see that Andreas Pereira has the confidence to ask for the ball, but then to place it perfectly into the back of the net under that amount of pressure on his debut is amazing.
Louis van Gaal shown faith in the Brazilian and he certainly didn’t look out of place alongside the likes of Wayne Rooney, Juan Mata and Bastian Schweinsteiger.
