Manchester United have been without the services of the speedy Argentinian international Angel di Maria for a few games now, after he suffered a hamstring injury in the 3-0 victory over Stoke just over a fortnight ago. United have since beaten Southampton and Liverpool, and are looking good sitting in third in the league table.
According to the Daily Star, Di Maria is set to return to action this coming Saturday when United pay a visit to Aston Villa. Lambert’s men are on a good run of late, and our away performances will certainly have to improve if we want to take all three points back to Manchester with us come Saturday evening.
Di Maria’s pace on the counter will be a real asset in that game, and a front three of Rooney, Di Maria and Wilson will certainly be able to cause any teams problems on the break.
