Young Chilean striker Angelo Henriquez has left Manchester United on loan, the club have confirmed. The 20-year old striker born in Santiago, Chile, has struggled to make an impact on the first team, and has had to find his football elsewhere during a series of loan moves away from Old Trafford.
Dinamo Zagreb have acquired Henriquez’s services with an option to buy at the end of the deal. The striker is born to score goals, having netted on every debut he has made in his career; Including Manchester United and the Chile national team at every level.
With an abundance of talent in the striker role, Henriquez is arguably seventh choice in his favoured position – meaning he’ll probably never make it at the club. Young players like James Wilson and Will Keane are more likely to feature after impressive performances and a spot on the tour respectively. I hope Angelo makes his mark in Croatia, and seals a permanent move away from the club where more playing time awaits.
Henriquez’s departure leaves the #21 shirt vacant, with new signing Ander Herrera set to be it’s new owner this week.
