Manchester United took a huge risk when they splashed £38million to bring in Anthony Martial from AS Monaco last summer, but since then the 20-year old has been a revelation, bringing some much-needed pace to an struggling front line.
The young man met the media, and was asked all sorts of questions about his form, life at United, and some transfer stories too. Martial was quizzed about whether he’d like to see Zlatan in England, namely at United. The young man responded:
“It would be good to have him with us in the Premier League as he is an extraordinary player.”
“He has won nearly everything and he is still performing well despite his age.”
At the end of the day Zlatan Ibrahimovic has had a wonderful career, but at 34 it would be a huge gamble for Manchester United to take. It could be a massive success or a costly failure, but personally I’d prefer to see the money spent elsewhere.
