Manchester United spent big in the summer transfer window, which is exactly what you’d expect to see from a side in transition. Perhaps the best piece of business came last, when Louis van Gaal spent a huge £38million to bring in Anthony Martial from AS Monaco.
Since then the young man has really made a name for himself at Old Trafford, scoring plenty of goals, and important ones at that. He seems to be loving life in Manchester, and today he conducted an interview and was asked about who he gets on with most.
When asked about who his closest pals were, Martial replied:
“Schneiderlin & Fellaini. I also get along well with Memphis & Januzaj. They’re good guys.”
The Schneiderlin link is obvious as they are both French. As is the link to Memphis who was also new at the club this summer, but at the end of the day its brilliant to see Martial flourishing on the pitch, and if he keeps progressing we could have a real star on our hands for the foreseeable future.
