Anthony Martial has opted for a fresh trim ahead of the new season – and it’s a bold one…
We’re now just under two weeks away from it all starting again. With the European Championships keeping us busy, this summer has gone particularly quickly. And I’m definitely not complaining about that!
Nothing beats the euphoria, joy, the highs and lows of club football though. Manchester United will always be at the forefront of our minds – and it all kicks off with a game against Leeds United, at Old Trafford, in front of 75,000! Bring it on.
Anyway, as players slowly make their return back into the mix following the summer off, Anthony Martial was pictured in training for the first time this summer.
To our surprise, the United star was pictured with a completely bald head, shaving all his hair off. Honestly, it’s a look we can totally get behind!

If anyone needs a bounceback year, it’s Martial. Obviously, he’s an incredibly talented footballer. It’s just that 2020/21 was an absolute struggle for numerous reasons.
The Frenchman suffered with injuries constantly, meaning he could never get to full fitness. As a result of that, his confidence took a knock and performance levels started to dip.
With a pre-season under his belt, I’m fully expecting to see a rejuvenated Martial, who has a point to prove. Some fans have remained firmly on his side, while others have started to question his ability. I do really believe we’ll see a 20+ goal season from the former AS Monaco man this time around.
