Anthony Martial has taken to Twitter to send a message to the fans following his Sevilla loan move being completed.
Well, I guess after arriving in Seville yesterday, the writing was on the wall and Anthony Martial was going to seal a move to Sevilla.
The Frenchman has been out of the picture at Old Trafford over the last twelve months, most notably due to poor form and others around him improving under the new manager.
Martial’s talent will always be undeniable. This is a player who has so much ability, hence a Ballon d’Or clause was entered into his contract when he made the move to Manchester United.
It started out like winning the best individual award in football was a real possibility, but Martial hasn’t really developed that much since arriving. Some of that’s on him, while the coaching staff at the Theatre of Dreams also have to take some of the blame.
Anyway, he’s now sealed a move to Sevilla, with Martial taking to Twitter to send a short but simple message to the fans.

As is always the case with Martial, it’s always incredibly hard to work out whether he’s actually happy or not! All jokes aside, this feels like an excellent move for the Frenchman.
Sevilla play lovely football and they’re currently second in the La Liga table. Martial will see plenty of the ball, too, with Julen Lopetegui’s side always in control of football matches.
I’m fully expecting Martial to thrive in a system that suits him perfectly. Then, the question about where his long-term future will lie will come to the fore amongst the media.
Personally, I’d imagine Martial will be moved on in a permanent capacity purely due to the quality of players in and around that United dressing room. If he can play well, at the very least, the Reds will get a good fee for Tony.
