Manchester United splashed out on the most expensive teenager in history on transfer deadline day, as they brought Anthony Martial to Old Trafford. He has started his career at his new club superbly, scoring four goals in his first five appearances for his new side.
He was quizzed about the big-money move that he made, and he replied:
“I know the fans expect a lot from me because of my price tag. But I’ll do everything so they can be proud of me.” he said.
Martial has been a breath of fresh air since his arrival at Old Trafford. He has pace, power, a cool head and great hold up ability. The frightening thing is that he’s just 19, and he has so much potential to go an awful long way in this game.
He just seems to take everything in his stride, he wasn’t phased by the huge money move whatsoever and really hit the ground running.
