Manchester United made a huge £38million move to bring Anthony Martial to Old Trafford on transfer deadline day, with the 19-year old impressing from minute one. His teammate Michael Carrick is thrilled with the Frenchman, and in the pre-match press conference he backed that up.
“I’m hugely impressed with Martial. The signs are very positive & great for the future.” Michael Carrick said.
Honestly I don’t think anyone, including the manager, expected the kind of impact Anthony Martial has already made at Old Trafford. Since he scored that fantastic goal against Liverpool he has been absolutely fantastic in every game he has played in, and the praise is more than deserved.
Hopefully this is just the start for the young man. He clearly has a wise head on his shoulders and if he keeps it that way we could have a real star on our hands.
