Man United winger Antony is now pushing to leave the club on loan before Friday’s Turkish transfer deadline.

Manchester United conducted plenty of transfer business over the summer, both in terms of incoming and outgoings.

The Old Trafford side made some vital signings, while letting some high-earners leave for pastures new.

However, the business may not yet be concluded, with some transfer windows still open. Take Turkey for example, they have until Friday to sign new players.

Apparently, Fenerbahce could look to take advantage of that, with a late move to take Antony off United’s hands.

It’s The Sun with the story and in their byline, they claim that the winger is now ‘pushing’ to leave the club on loan before the fast-approaching Friday deadline. On top of that, the former Ajax man ‘may’ have already played his last game for the club.

Jose Mourinho is the current Fenerbahce manager and he is looking to bring in the wide man, with the player himself said to want an exit from the Theatre of Dreams.

It’d be a loan deal, with no movement expected on a permanent Antony transfer until next summer at the earliest.

The 24-year-old is the fourth choice winger at present, currently behind Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad in the pecking order.

A troublesome 2023/24 season for Antony has seen the media pile on the Brazilian, who had both on and off-field issues to contend with.

The brutal matter of the fact is that he hasn’t looked anything close to an £80m+ player, which is what United paid for his services. I’d be surprised if the club let him leave this summer as they need Antony for depth purposes, but if a big offer came in, then it may be too good to turn down…
