Antony has responded to his critics after his showboating and skill was on full display vs Sheriff.
Winger Antony is weirdly copping some stick this morning, after he decided to do his trademark spinning trick against Sheriff for Manchester United last night.
The gaffer had no problem with it. It also wasn’t the reason why he was substituted at half-time. However, the likes of Paul Scholes and Robbie Savage were seriously angry after the fact. I honestly don’t get why.
Oddly, the footballing world is in uproar about the lad going out on the pitch and enjoying himself. The fans in the stadium loved it. At the end of the day, they’re the ones paying the money. Antony and his tricks is a large reason why. He’s entertaining.
Anyway, Antony took to social media to hit back at his critics following his showboating against Sheriff. You absolutely love to see it.

Translation: “We’re known for our art and I won’t stop doing what got me to where I am!”
Honestly, this just makes me love the man even more. Why should he stop doing what he enjoys because a few people get wound up needlessly over it?
If I were him, I’d do it against West Ham on Sunday just to prove that point.
Antony has made a great start to life in Manchester. Suddenly, we’re not talking about his expensive transfer fee – which tells you everything you need to know.
Sure, there’s still plenty of room for growth as a footballer, but I really do enjoy watching him play.
Keep doing what you’re doing, Antony! We love it.
