Hannibal Mejbri may well be spending next season out on loan.
Hannibal Mejbri would make his first-team debut for Manchester United in 2020/21, with the French midfielder showing he’s already too good to be playing U23 football.
After signing from AS Monaco in a deal worth around £9million a couple of years ago, the now 18-year-old has gone from strength to strength.
It’s about time Mejbri is given the opportunity to play week-in-week-out – though at this moment, that option is probably unlikely in Manchester. Hence why a loan move to Galatasaray is being talked up.
Furthermore, an approach for the United youngster has already been made, with Gala now waiting for an answer from the Old Trafford club.
It’s claimed that Solskajer is likely to agree to the deal, with the Baby Faced Assassin currently keeping a close eye on Hannibal’s development as a player.
Despite his rapid growth as a footballer, it’s unlikely Hannibal will be a first-team regular at United next season, so this could well be an attractive opportunity for the young midfielder.
The current U23 Player of the Year is ready to take that next step. Turkey could well be the ideal place to do that. Hannibal would be given the chance to play regularly at a high level in a competitive league. No doubt that’s miles better for his development than sitting with our U23s and getting bored because he’s just too good for that level of football.
Hopefully, a deal can be sorted sooner rather than later.
