Arenal’s Hector Bellerin not ready to take on Man United on Monday

Quite frankly, Manchester United need all the help they can get at the moment.

With some big games just on the horizon, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has his work cut out for him – particularly when you factor in injuries.

With Arsenal visiting Old Trafford on Monday night, United have been handed a welcome boost – with Hector Bellerin set to miss the clash as he steps up his recovery from injury. That’s according to Sky Sports News.

Bellerin made his long-awaited return from the treatment table against Nottingham Forest last night, though he’s still not ready to start, meaning Ainsley Maitland-Niles will continue to deputise in that right-back slot.

With Luke Shaw out injured, the fact that Bellerin won’t be marauding down his side, piling the pressure on Ashley Young, has to be viewed as a positive for United.

This squad is struggling, both mentally and physically at the moment, and Solskjaer needs every little boost he can get.

Who knows, a win against Arsenal on Monday night could well kick-start our season. Getting one over on the old enemy would be a huge result, breathing a new lease of life into the squad as a whole.

First, though, United have to overcome Rochdale and book their place into the Carabao Cup fourth round.
