According to the Daily Star, Manchester United target Arturo Vidal would prefer a move to Old Trafford over any of their Premier League rivals – if he were to leave Juventus. The 27-year old had an excellent World Cup, before his Chile side were knocked out on penalties by the host nation Brazil.
Arturo Vidal is regarded as one of the best midfield enforcers in world football, and that obviously comes with a huge price tag. Reports suggested that Vidal would cost around £45million, but Manchester United need a world-class midfielder and he certainly fits the bill perfectly.
Antonio Conte would obviously prefer to keep Vidal in Turin, but he is dispensable if the price was right. Paul Pogba is young, and progressing as a player all the time, whereas Claudio Marchisio is a boyhood Juventus fan and popular amongst the supporters.
He’d completely change Manchester United’s midfield, and his ability to do many different jobs in the middle of the park would strengthen our starting XI massively; If we were to sign one more player this summer, I’d hope it’d be him.
