Ashley Young frustrated with BT Sport following three-match ban: report

Manchester United’s Ashley Young is extremely unhappy with television broadcasters BT Sport, following his three-match ban given by the FA.

The Manchester Evening News state that Young, 32, is unhappy with the way that BT Sport kept replaying the incident that led to his suspension, despite the fact that Southampton, nor Dusan Tadic (the player involved) complained about the incident.

At the end of the day, it was needless from Young and the elbow was clear. He motioned his arm, with force, into Tadic’s midriff and it came as no surprise to me when the FA rejected the appeal. You just cannot do that, and unfortunately, he let himself and his teammates down.

In Young’s absence, Luke Shaw has an excellent opportunity to make that left-back slot his own. The quality is there, now it’s up to him to stay fit and put in performances that we all know he is capable of.

The Red Devils will be without him for United’s FA Cup Third Round game against Derby County and also a Premier League game against Stoke City.
